In connection with the Community connection care and conserve motto, the students of the GIVE CLUB (Get Involved Value Everything) of GIIS Cambridge visited the Ti-Ratana Welfare Society. Ti-Ratana Welfare Society is a voluntary, non-profit organisation that offers a wide scope of community services. GIVE Club members were touched on seeing the old folks who have been abandoned by their own families.
They interacted with them and at the same time cleared up and cleaned up their stores. They pledged that it would be an ongoing project This 9 Gem method of education adapted by Global Indian International School (GIIS) promotes holistic learning among students. Students bought rice and other needy materials and gave it to the old folks. Students realised the importance of family and they were touched by the plight of the old folks. It is through community service that students understand and learn real life lessons are well equipped to face the world.
